Bag Fanatic

I came across Hayden-Harnett a while ago, and I just can't get over how hot their bags are. The leather is soft and supple, and the designs are über luxurious with fabulous details. I love the Mercer Collection, but the metallic navy bag with patent croc trim takes it to the next level! This bag is the perfect chameleon that will transcend from day to night, no problem! All their bags are amazing though. I have a feeling that it won't be long before Hayden-Harnett soon holds the coveted title of the "It" bag.

Check out the other notables on the site like the leather cuffs, and their new line of apparel.

Bollywood chic

A while back, I got the opportunity to see my first Bollywood film, and was entranced by the clothes, colors, and of course, the jewelry! The second I returned to my work space, I was inspired to make my own interpretation of what I call Bollywood chic.

First we have the Bollywood pearl earrings made from gold-filled wire and freshwater pearls. I love the shape of these earrings - they're are bold, but delicate at the same time. When I first made them, I thought they would only pair with a super dressy look, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were great with jeans and a sexy top. I had to make a pair for my personal jewelry box!
My second piece is the Bollywood necklace with handmade drop pendant. I love the super delicate sterling silver chain and the shape of the drop.
Actually, now that I think about it - each piece would be fabulous for any bride that wants to infuse a little Bollywood into her big day!

MOMA Love

It's hard not to want everything I see at the MOMA store web site these days. My favorite for now? The super cool Bourgie lamp from Ferruccio Laviani. A sleek and playful marriage of modern materials with old world chic, it's nothing less than spectacular.

Looking for other craveable goods? Perhaps you should check out the futuristic Zero-In coffee table from Barber Osgerby, or the Cast Iron Melon teapot from Iwashimizu.

Oh, and don't forget - MOMA members get a discount on the items in the store. Not a member? No problem. You can join on the web site.

Happy Friday!

Welcome to the launch!

Let's start off with a little taste of what's new from my site, shall we? About a week ago, I added the faceted moonstone ring series. I don't know what it is about moonstone, but it has a mysterious allure that never fails to draw me in - especially gray moonstone. The rings are available in just about every color moonstone you can imagine - gray, white, peach, & rainbow.

I had a hard time picking a favorite, so I am posting a couple pics. Here's a an image of the gray moonstone ring:
& the rainbow moonstone ring:
So that's it for the first post! I plan on updating every day or two, so check back and see what's else is new :)
