Happy Friday, everyone! This post is perfect for those of you that are planning on international travel this summer. That said, check out this seriously fabulous passport cover from Asos! The print actually reminds me a little of the Jenn Ski artwork that was featured recently (click here to read that post). What a fun way to add a little color to your travels - before you even reach your destination.

Tourmaline Hoop Dream
Feast your eyes on these unusually sophisticated hoops from Anthony Nak. Such a cool idea to combine the shape of the classic hoop earring with a natural woodsy element. And the addition of the singular tourmaline stone and ultra-petite diamonds? Absolute perfection, I say!

Mirror, Mirror
How awesome would it be to have this self-carrying three-sided mirror from designer extraordinaire Karim Rashid nestled snugly in your home? I have to admit that it's way more than I could ever spend on a mirror (a staggering $2,500), but at least I can dream!

Green Amethyst Earrings

The gems are hanging from fine flat cable chain inside hand formed and hammered drop frames, and also have my handmade ear wires. I've found that they are quite versatile as well. The pale green color is especially complimentary to brights blues and pinks, but looks amazing with black, too.

Tatty Devine!
Check out this funky shoe necklace from the jewelry house of Tatty Devine. I love that the namesake is written on the tiny insoles - now that's some serious attention to detail! Also available in tiger print.

Jenn Ski
I was lucky enough to come across the bright and funky work of artist Jenn Ski recently. From original artwork to adorn your walls, to affordable prints that work well for room accents, you're sure to find some fun stuff for your home. Also in the works? A line of housewares and stationary that will appear in the currently-under-construction goodies area. I can't wait!

For more info from the artist herself on shows, new pieces, and random info in general, take a look at her live journal.
Oh, and a quick note to all my wonderful readers: I'm going to be on vacation all next week, so I won't be posting daily. I'll do my best to post one or two though! Also, I will still be taking orders on my site, but won't be able to make or ship orders until I get back on Monday, June 18th. That said, have a fabulous weekend everyone!

More Model pics!
The newest addition to my jewelry box? These cool swingy earrings that feature a handcrafted crescent wrapped with faceted labradorite, smooth sleeping beauty turquoise rounds, and baby freshwater pearls. Oh, and another quick note; this design also features a pair of my very own studio-crafted ear wires.
Something else that's a little new to the site? Beginning with these earrings, I'm going be including inserts of how the items look on in the detail information pages. Hopefully the visual will give viewers a better idea of the proportions for each piece.

Oh, Deer!
Oooo - check out this cool hand cut bambi necklace I found at gNeebo's Etsy shop. I love the bright green lotus print. Such a fun, fresh piece - and totally adorable to boot!

SurlyGirly Cosmetics
Below is a picture of the owners of SC Moda (they're on the right), Cynthia, and Silvia. Thanks to them for the fabulous atmosphere of the evening! Another cool highlight came from the women to their left, Christine and Kristen. They are the co-founders of a cosmetics line from LA that launched last August, aptly named SurlyGirly. It's such a great name, because it represents their personalities - there's no wondering who represents the "surly" or the "girly"!
All night they were showcasing their line of make-up, and women were eating it up! There was always a commotion going on when I looked over. Their line boasts high quality products - glosses that feel like balms, high pigmented eye shadows, and more, more, more! Really great stuff, and definitely worth checking out.
