Here's a little glimpse of a design that's coming soon to my site. Made from hand formed sterling silver wire, sparkling pale blue glass, and my very own earwires crafted in house, they're so light and ethereal. I'll be adding them to the site next week. As always, if you can't wait until then, contact me and we'll work something out.

Infinite Beauty
Check out this ultra-chic infinity ring from Jeanine Payer. I love the mix of gently sloping curves with the duo of softly textured metal and graceful cursive. Such a wonderful idea, and perfectly done! I definitely think that this wonderful piece is nothing less than heirloom-worthy.

Jocelyn Warner Wallpapers
Now this is really gorgeous - check out this charming metallic leaf wallpaper from Jocelyn Warner. It's also available in white/grey and turquoise/gold. If metallics aren't your thing, there's several non-metallic versions to choose from that are just as lovely.

One Million in One
Who can resist a single piece of fabric that expands the possibilities of your wardrobe ten-fold? Personally, I have a huge weakness for this kind of thing. While I'm still undecided on the color I want, I've had the opportunity to try it out and am definitely picking one up for fall.

It's My 21st Birthday! Again ;)
It's my birthday today, so I thought I'd deviate from the norm and post about my cool and exciting presents. From my husband? Drum lessons! I have become interested in them in the last year or so, and he thought it would be a fun present. I'm happy to report that he was right! I've done a few lessons already (I had to start early due to my instructors tour dates), and am having a blast!!! It's so fun. And aside from my instructor being a great teacher, he also does a mean Speak 'n Spell impression.
I also got a completely unintentional, but super cool birthday present from Kalmbach Publishing. Last year, I submitted an instructional article to Bead and Button magazine on how to make a pair of cool, bohemian style hoop earrings, which showed up in the August 2006 issue. Totally cool in and of itself, but the editors selected the tutorial to appear in the book Creative Beading Vol. 2. Below is a variation of the project that appears in the book.
The book showcases the best projects over the year from the magazine. While my project in particular is relatively quick and easy, there are some really beautiful projects for every skill level. I recieved my complimentary copy over the weekend, and my Boho Hoops project shows up on page 20. Cool, I'm published!

Pure Inspiration
Check out this cool zen-like collection of bud vases. What a lovely way to display freshly cut blossoms and other inspirational foliage. I'm just imagining how fetching an assortment of brightly colored orchids, or pure and delicate lily of the valley would look. Absolutely divine, no doubt!

Sneak Peek - More Luscious Turquoise
Once again, both pairs have made the little journey into my personal jewelry box. Big surprise there, right? I've found these earrings to be really fabulous and versatile. They can be dressed up or dressed down accordingly, and the compliments I get when I wear them out are endless. The color of the gem is pure and bright, with no veins of black or anything else marring the surface. These are really heirloom grade gems.
Due to a crazy week, I wasn't able to add them onto the site or update the homepage, but they'll be available for purchase next week. As always, if you don't think you can wait that long, contact me and we can arrange a PayPal transaction.

The plant feeds itself
image courtesy of Vitamin StoreI need some plant food and water, STAT! Oh wait, never mind. This quirky pot comes with a plant food IV drip and a self-watering feature so your plant never has to go hungry again. A bit of an odd twist, but I image it can actually come in quite handy.

The 7/6/07 issue hit the streets of Phoenix last Friday morning, and the response has been amazing! If you happen to be in the great and incredibly hot state of AZ at the moment, you should check it out. The necklace graces page 21 in the Your Essential Schedule section.

The Gilded Greek
I've actually been looking for a replacement for quite a while a while now, but recently came across these cool, yet understated sandals from Michael Kors. I just love the minimal Greek thing they have going for them, not to mention the faux wood insole. They're a great find, and should work with everything. Score!

Absolute Modness
Personally, I wish it were fall already. It's been over 100 degrees every day in the desert for a while now, and as you can imagine, I'm spending a lot of time day dreaming about fall. I know I still have a while to wait, seeing as how summer has just started and everything - but it's those little things that keep me going! Oh, and the AC, of course ;)
Have a happy and safe 4th, everyone!

Slice of Style
Check out this unusually modern, one-of-a-kind slice ring from Andrea Corson. The shape is so unique, and I absolutely adore the brushed finish of the vermeil. Gorgeous!
