Rock Band

I hope everyone had a nice vacation! I know I did. My husband and I drove out to see his family in LA, and made sure to bring along the XBox 360, and the newly released game Rock Band with us. I don't even think I can be considered a "gamer" by any stretch of the word, but this game is seriously addicting. Up to four people can play in the "band" (drummer, singer, lead guitar, and bassist), but be ready to have a serious monster jam session. Last Friday night, we went over to my brother-in-law's house, and the four of us ended up playing for about six or seven hours straight. Get your wallet ready though - for the game bundle that has the guitar, drum kit, and mic, it was about $170 or so, and that only includes one guitar. If you don't have a guitar for Guitar Hero already, it's another $60 or so for a second guitar controller so four people can play.

Thanks for reading, have a great week and Rock On! :)

Sugar Shine

I must have a thing for glosses inspired by confections these days. My most recent gloss purchase hails from Pop Beauty, and is aptly named Sugar Shine. Subtly sweet with adorable packaging, this lovely gloss duo adds the perfect amount of shine and moisturizes quite nicely. Available at Ulta.

P.S. Sorry for the late post - there were some technical difficulties yesterday that kept things from moving. All is well now though. Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Custom Chic

Happy Monday! And happy holiday to those of you that get to take the day off.

Over the last couple months, you may have seen some gemstone bangle bracelets on my site. Personally, I love the dramatic and sophisticated appeal they add to an outfit. Not to mention, they go with just about anything!Because these cool bangles look especially amazing in multiples, I'm now offering customizable versions in sparkling Czech glass available in a single ($75), duo ($139), or trio ($199). Choose between gold-filled or sterling silver, and a lovely array of colors. Here they are shown in amethyst w/ AB finish (sterling silver), crystal w/ swirled rose gold (sterling silver), and jet w/ AB finish (gold-filled). Also available in topaz w/ AB finish, and gunmetal gray.

I've never really been big on bracelets, but times have changed. I have an ever growing collection of these bejeweled bangles tucked away in in my very own stash.

Sparkling Sneaks

Two of my favorite things have come together to form the most fabulous sneaker - sequined Converse Lo-Tops. How adorable is that? Check out Vivre to snag a pair of these sparkling kicks.
